quite spectacular, over in my part of the world they are tearing down old cathedrals. such a loss of grandiose construction.

I think we must keep and restore old constructions, they are part of our history and culture. We can always learn things of them! I hope they'll understand it someday.

I hope so too, i think that the population here was so dejected of religion that they left in droves, and there is very little financial support to keep those marvels standing. I lived in another city, and old temples and places of worship were rented out for dances and other gatherings, instead of being torn down. different city, differrent mentality.
